Last Monday, 17 January, Eef ter Laak left for Canada to spend another 2 years working there for KUBO. Eef has been working for KUBO for over 49 years. His trip to Canada means postponing his retirement for the time being.
KUBO active in Canada
For many years, KUBO has successfully worked on projects in Canada, and in 2021 opened an office in Eastern Canada. With Eef based in Western Canada, KUBO can also actively focus on sales and support for Canadian projects in this region. Eef will be supported by Eric Douw, who will follow him to Canada next spring. The office in Canada will be responsible for selling and managing the Canadian projects. KUBO already has its own platforms and construction teams in Canada.
Canadian customers not only have access to this high-tech sustainable greenhouse, but also to cultivation support. As such, KUBO makes its high-tech horticulture accessible to all. Feasibility studies offer the customer concrete insight into demand, possibilities and local circumstances, so that they can achieve the highest returns. But design and implementation of the organisation systems to monitor and improve the quality of the project are also part of the service.
PYLOT
KUBO also has its own data platform, PYLOT, which registers data relating to climate, harvest plans, incident management and the use of gas, water and light. Particularly with respect to optimising cultivation, we can have an impact worldwide.
Eef will be living in Chilliwack, near Vancouver. Here, he will advise and support (potential) customers with respect to interesting KUBO projects. Canada, over 49 years of experience in greenhouse construction is coming your way!
