Saudi AgriFood Tech Alliance

Working towards a future-proof agrifood sector in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is working towards a future-proof agrifood sector. Demand for locally produced food is growing, while water, energy and climate conditions call for smart and efficient solutions. That makes collaboration between government, research institutions and companies essential.

KUBO is a member of the Saudi AgriFood Tech Alliance, also known as SAFTA. This strategic partnership brings national and international parties together to accelerate the use of technology in the agrifood sector. For KUBO, it is an important step in a region where sustainable greenhouse horticulture is becoming increasingly relevant.

During Saudi Agriculture 2024 in Riyadh, KUBO signed a Memorandum of Understanding with local partners. This collaboration is part of broader initiatives focused on sustainable agriculture, food security and technological development in Saudi Arabia.

As part of SAFTA, KUBO shares knowledge on high-tech greenhouse horticulture, energy-efficient greenhouse solutions and controlled growing environments. At the same time, the network gives KUBO access to local expertise, research institutions and public partners. This helps create solutions that match regional conditions and support the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.

For KUBO, participation in SAFTA goes beyond market development. It is a way to help build a more sustainable food system. With technology that uses water and energy more intelligently. With greenhouses that enable year-round production. And with partnerships that support local food production for the long term.

Together with SAFTA and local partners, KUBO contributes to the next step in sustainable greenhouse horticulture in Saudi Arabia.
