42% CO2 reduction by the year 2030
Consciously or unconsciously, we are all working on issues that contribute to climate improvement. The government, businesses and organizations, as well as people at home. But we will have to take bigger steps. For ourselves, for our future generations and for the climate.
In early December 2023, a large UN delegation met on the subject in Dubai. The main outcomes of the climate summit were:
1) Accelerated action to phase out fossil fuels;
2) Tripling renewable energy worldwide;
3) Fund for poor countries affected by climate change.
These are encouraging agreements that will hopefully benefit nature and the climate.
How will the KUBO Group contribute to this?
Last month we completed the Carbon Footprint analysis for 2022. We now know what we are doing in terms ofCO2 emissions and we have set ourselves targets to reduceCO2 emissions. The commitment made by KUBO is a 42% reduction by the year 2030 compared to the year 2022. This is ambitious, but we are confident that we will improve our Footprint every year and achieve the final goal.
