The Challenge

BrightFarms faced the challenge of rapidly scaling its production capacity to meet soaring consumer demand for fresh, pesticide-free leafy greens, while adhering to stringent sustainability standards and maintaining consistent product quality. The need to serve a broader geographic area and minimize environmental impact required an advanced, reliable, and resource-efficient greenhouse solution.

The Solution

By deploying three new Ultra-Clima® greenhouses, including a flagship facility in Macon, Georgia, BrightFarms achieved a threefold increase in production capacity. This expansion positioned the company to supply approximately 66% of Americans with fresh, locally grown greens. The Ultra-Clima® system's precise climate control, resource efficiency, and robust year-round performance underpinned BrightFarms' commitment to quality and sustainability, supporting significant operational scale while minimizing environmental footprint.
