South Korean province of Jeollanam-do, Daeyoung and KUBO to work closely together in Advanced Horticulture

On Monday, 1 May, KUBO was delighted to welcome a delegation supervised by Governor Kim Yung-rok of South Jeolla Province. This visit saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at KUBO’s head office in Monster. The MoU covers Jeollanam-do’s development plan to raise the level of the province’s horticulture, and more specifically horticulture under glass, with the aid of KUBO and KUBO’s partner Daeyoung. The plan refers to modern horticulture under glass using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data and
offers KUBO a great opportunity to intensify the company’s position, and that of its Korean partner Daeyoung, in South Korea.

Dr Myung
Dr Myung is an extremely valued KUBO customer who has three KUBO greenhouses measuring a total of ten hectares; six of those hectares belong to the Ultra-Clima greenhouse class. On a special note, the latter is the first real Ultra-Clima sweet-pepper greenhouse that KUBO built. Dr Myung advised Governor Kim of South Jeolla Province to get in touch with KUBO for help in achieving the governor’s horticultural goals.

Ultra-Clima
The Ultra-Clima is a revolutionary greenhouse concept that is innovative and sustainable in every way. The Ultra-Clima meets the demands of today and tomorrow. It actually combines all the requirements demanded of a modern greenhouse: higher yields, maximum food safety, minimum energy and water consumption, minimum CO2 emissions and improved returns.
